As many of you will be aware Dr Plaskett B.A, Ph.D., C.Chem is one of the industry’s best known nutritional specialists having trained many thousands of highly skilled nutritional practitioners over several decades. Dr Plaskett, was the co founder of one of the UK’s first nutritional courses, The College of Dietary Therapy, then the founder of The Dr Plaskett College of Nutritional Medicine, that was then sold to the current owners of the course Thames Valley University. Dr Plaskett is also the well known author of many of the leading nutritional reviews we have made available through Nutrigold for many years.

The Actizorb® Formulae are quite different from many multi vitamin and mineral formulations as they utilise some of the most advanced Citrizorb® mineral technology to enable them to deliver their key minerals in an organic, highly absorbed biologically active form. However it’s worth noting that in some cases, some of the trace minerals are better offered in other forms e.g. selenium citrate would not be well used, so we use the industries best absorbed form, in this case a form called L-selenomethionine. So we are adopting and utilising the best nutrient forms available to us from the European Food Supplement Positive List.  These formulas are designed to only deliver the key nutrients normally recommended by nutritional consultants and they can easily be supported by other key bulky nutrients like, Citrizorb® Potassium, Calcium or Magnesium or Vitamin C so as to deliver more of any key nutrient that might be needed by an individual consumer. These formulas also work particularly well in conjunction with our industry renowned OmegaSmart product that delivers a full spectrum of the essential fatty acids, omega 3, 6 & 9 which are offered in an emulsified form with the addition of the important enzyme lipase. 

The four Actizorb® formulae are all very similar.  The only differences are that the Calcium Magnesium Complex (NC093), is identical in formulation to the Magnesium Complex (NC094), except for the exclusion of calcium from it.  The Actizorb® Lipotrope Formulae also offer the same basic formulae, with calcium (NC095) and without calcium (NC096), but they also deliver elevated levels of choline and inositol to help support liver function.
